The goal of this project was to present 26 design styles as adjectives filling out the alphabet from A to Z. The aim was to educate people about design styles, as a sort of visual dictionary. The audience for this project was fellow college students.
My team decided to create a virtual 3D gallery experience, using the Unity game development engine. We wanted to engage the new generation of designers to interact with, and reimagine, these design styles in a digital space. We organized the design styles into different rooms, labelling each room as the art style and including the associated adjective as an asset inside the room. Each adjective uses a different typeface that embodies the given style. Each person on the team contributed artwork for 5–6 rooms. The resulting gallery was a quirky and charming experience.
